The Brendon Arms, a family‑run inn since 1872, crowns Bude Harbour and sits 500 m from Summerleaze Beach. Rooms feature flat‑screen TVs, private baths or showers, tea/coffee makers, and hairdryers. Daily cooked breakfasts, a bar with fresh Cornish seafood, local meats, West Country specials, pool, darts, and Sky Sports. Nearby, Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club, scenic walks, and beach water sports.

The staff were great and the food was good, but the shower left something to be desired.

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and the room was comfortable; having parking in the center of Bude was a real bonus.

The room felt a bit small with the extra bed, yet it met our needs; the shower was amazing, and the cleanliness was excellent—even an apology was offered for an iron burn on the carpet. The location was great, though the band played a little loudly, finishing quickly so the kids slept fine. The staff were nice and parking was easier than expected. The only downside was that we couldn't use the pool table because it was restricted to over‑16s.
