Top location. Coco welcomed us at his home and was always available. We were out of time… the evening meal was great… A very beautiful experience and a memorable stay.

Great location with a view of the main island, no tents but huts. After booking, a 50 % deposit was demanded immediately, even though it was excluded at booking. Food was very one‑dimensional and not worth the price; only water from a can was offered as drinks, and sometimes we had to fetch it ourselves from the kitchen. There were no plates for breakfast, the food was served in a foul manner. Tablecloths were dirty, the shower wasn’t cleaned. The house pig sprayed everywhere, so it smells that way. For lagoon boat trips, a high bill was issued afterward, which hadn’t been agreed beforehand.

We quickly felt comfortable with Coco and his son; we loved the authenticity of the place, the breathtaking view, the human experience with Coco and ha'amanatea who played a lot with the kids and taught us how to fish, the dogs, the sunset after a walk through the palm‑lined vegetation, the cleanliness, and the delicious meals served in the pretty dining room. Special shout‑out to the dogs, choux, the pig that loves scratches, piou piou, and Minette and Mino. Thank you Coco and thank you ha'amanatea!!! These memories will stay with us forever! Nothing else, our island favorite in Polynesia 🤘🤘🏼🤘
