Check‑in was straightforward, the rooms were spotless, and the hotel was quiet. The church bells were a bit of a distraction.

The hotel’s location is great, the room was clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast is offered at a café across the street for a fee. Everything was handled online—check‑in, PIN access, check‑out—which was unusual for me, but the friendly staff at the separate restaurant appreciated the brief explanation.

The location was fun with beautiful half‑timber houses, a cozy town with many small shops and varied restaurants, and a lovely setting. The staff were friendly. The shower left a puddle on the bathroom floor, parking was scarce, there was no on‑site point of contact, and the restaurant below the hotel isn’t part of the hotel. Narrow, steep streets with little headroom made it unsuitable for wheelchair users.
