The location is great, right in Tarifa’s old town with bars and restaurants at the door. When I arrived the TV was missing from the room; the staff said it was under repair and offered no compensation or price cut. They did offer a fresh cleaning for the ant colony in the bathroom, but overall the room felt old and cramped.

The front‑desk staff mishandled my father‑in‑law’s arrival, even bringing up Ceuta incidents, which was disappointing.

I stayed right in the city center, but the bathroom was filthy—stagnant water in a hard‑to‑reach shower left a horrible smell, and no one was available to complain.

The building had a traditional charm, yet the reception was cold, there was no welcome service, the room lacked water, breakfast was missing even though we paid for it, and the value for money was terrible.
