I paid with a credit card but the host didn’t take the money, and I never stayed in the place.

“Dreckig, gefährlich und beängstigend.”

A friendly lady at the front desk struck up a pleasant conversation with us, but the hostel’s shared bathroom, showers, toilets and kitchen were filthy, gave off an unpleasant odor, and the experience in those areas was simply disgusting. My friend and I were the only women there and felt very uncomfortable when several men tried to solicit us for sexual favors for money, even though we just wanted to enjoy our stay. One of the men stalked us through the hallway and shouted things at us, which terrified us. Leaving the room felt frightening, and a door from our room opened onto a shared terrace. That glass door was insecure and barely closed properly, so anyone could have entered or peeked into our room at any time. At night we were especially scared to stay there. We never felt safe and are glad we left. Because of the lack of cleanliness and especially the lack of security, we cannot recommend this hostel.

“AVOID THIS HOSTEL AT ALL COSTS!”

I booked this hostel for its late‑check‑in option, confirmed the reservation in advance, yet the reception closed at 7:00 PM and I got a message at 7:01 PM saying my card had a problem while I was still traveling after a six‑hour trip. They offered no alternative payment method and told me to cancel the booking myself. After many calls and messages I got no reply. I arrived at about 10:30 PM, was left outside without access, and had to walk alone through dark, unfamiliar streets with my luggage to find another hotel at a higher price. I have now started legal action against this property for this incident.

Cleanliness and equipment are very good for the price. A bit farther from the center, but well connected by car or bus.
