“A really nice Hakuba stay”

We spent a short but amazing time at Wadano Onsen Hotel and will definitely return. The newly renovated rooms are stunning—modern, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, yet still exude a warm mountain vibe. Everything feels fresh and new, and the beds were especially snug after a long hike. The outdoor onsen was likely the highlight; soaking in hot water while the cold mountain air blew around you was exactly the Hakuba experience we wanted. It was incredibly relaxing. In short, Wadano Onsen Hotel balances comfort, style, and a laid‑back holiday mood perfectly. Great rooms, a fantastic onsen, and genuinely enjoyable dining and relaxation spots. We’ll come back on our next Hakuba trip.

Good location and a nice breakfast buffet. The public bath was very nice, but there should be signs reminding people to shower before entering. I saw a couple of guests get in without washing first :(

“Good location and great staff, but bad bathroom and run down facility.”

Super close, just a short walk to the Happo One ski resort. Good food options nearby, friendly and helpful staff, great free breakfast, and a nice onsen. The bathroom was terrible: it was really small, like an RV bathroom. The facility felt old and unclean, like a cheap low‑end motel. I would not go back.

“コスパはいいと思う”

The welcome drink was a nice touch, but I was disappointed that the breakfast menu lacked any Japanese dishes, probably because there were so many foreign guests.
