The room was large and clean, yet the spot was bad—six miles from the airport in an industrial zone with no food or services nearby. A restaurant once existed but is now closed. There was no breakfast and no airport shuttle; an Uber cost $25. The building exterior was literally falling apart, and the hallways were scuffed and dinged. Our shower curtain lacked grommets, and when we checked in we were sent to a room that wasn’t made up, forcing us back to the desk for a different room.

The location and staff were great, but the building roof was damaged and coming down—a real hazard.
