The setting was quiet and the breakfast buffet was decent. The staff were unfriendly and didn't take time for guests, which ruined the atmosphere; the dining room didn't feel cozy. The portions of food were disappointing for the price. We stayed in rooms that were very noisy—one could hear neighbors showering and the toilet flushing. I was also disappointed that there was nothing to see of the farm, the chickens, or other animals.

“Tolle Tage in außergewöhnlichem Umfeld”

Everything is very lovingly decorated, the staff are incredibly nice and helpful, and with few guests around the atmosphere was relaxed. The food was traditional and a dream. The access road is mostly a gravel road and not suitable for every car.

We came with two kids, ages 11 and 14, and the room felt cramped for our family. The breakfast was sparse—only bread from the bakery, no homemade loaf, no potatoes, and not even milk. The staff seemed overwhelmed, sometimes even indifferent, especially during dinner. The room trash wasn’t taken out; it stayed in the same spot we left it, with empty bottles and unwashed cups. We booked a canoe trip, but the guide never mentioned that the river had no water, so that activity was canceled. The farm was hard to locate and had few animals. Overall, I’m shocked by what’s offered and the high price; it feels over‑priced and over‑rated. This will be the last Agriturismo for us.

“Gewoon luxe verblijf met fantastische ligging”

The location was gorgeous, with an apartment that offered a fairy‑tale view of the river/lake. The restaurant served fantastic, high‑quality food at reasonable prices. It was also perfectly central for visiting the Gorropukloof. Nothing to complain about.

Breakfast and dinner were both outstanding, mostly local, homemade, and top quality. The dining room and patio had breathtaking views; I could have spent my entire stay just gazing at the mountains from the outdoor seating. The room itself was adequate but a bit bare‑bones for the price. I had a small porch that I didn’t use because it overlooked the parking lot and offered no view.
