“4 nights at the Citigo Hotel Shanghai”

The room is well equipped with a washing machine and dryer, which is very convenient; the lobby is large with a big sofa, a big TV, and some games; the location is very good, close to the subway line 14, and there are many local restaurants nearby. The room is a little bit small; the cleaning staff are friendly and efficient, but the lobby staff are not very friendly—they are young people who seem unmotivated, do not speak English, and could improve their service and smiles; they also fail to give you information about hotel facilities, which would be appreciated. The rooftop was closed when I was there.

Laundry facilities are available and great; breakfast was very nice—it's not common to have breakfast every day at the hotel, but we did at CitiGo. The only downside was that the bar only had beer on tap.

Big rooms after the upgrade, otherwise a bit small, fine for 1‑2 days, modern furnishings with a large bed, a good and extensive breakfast buffet, free water
