It’s a motel, so if you want luxury it’s not the spot, but I was after a tidy, comfy place for the lantern festival and it met that need. It’s about a 10‑minute walk to sights and restaurants. The host was super friendly and even gave me a lift to the station when I left. Nice, friendly bloke! It feels out of the way and somewhat isolated, yet walking around at night felt very safe. The downside is it’s quiet!

The room was very original with all the necessary comforts. Very well located, highly recommend.

The owner was very kind and helpful, and since we booked just a day, it was more than enough to explore the city and then sleep at the motel. I’d recommend it, but foreigners might find it tricky to figure out how everything works because everything is controlled by a single remote. We didn’t realize at first that we could use the remote to start the A/C and control the lights, but we figured it out later.

Great location, easy walk to the fortress, but a bit cramped for two people.

The location was close to the festival spot we came for, and the rooms were spacious. Overall, everything lived up to expectations; what you see in the photos is what you get. It’s not huge or luxurious, but it’s fine for a couple of nights.
