The rooms are large with huge bathrooms and a comfortable bed, but the decor feels very dated, needs a deep clean and a fresh coat of paint, and the shower curtain is useless.

The staff remain natural and unchanged, which is the best. The breakfast is very tasty and always makes the stay good.

The location is perfect in central Ubud for walking to dinner, the Water Palace, and the art market. The staff are super kind and prepare breakfast on the spot every day, even for take‑away if you ask. They leave two 0.5 L water bottles daily, and the common pool area is great. Keep in mind that it’s not Spain; the room needs a bit of maintenance, some outlets don’t work well, the wood around the bed is slightly broken, there are a few cracks, but these are minor details that don’t affect a good stay.
