The welcome was very attentive and everything worked perfectly even though we were the only guests; the on‑site restaurant is excellent, essential because the location is isolated, with a wide selection and an open dining room overlooking the surrounding panorama; the beds were very comfortable.

You stay here for the delicious food and the magical mountain atmosphere, not for a luxury 4‑star resort, because you want an authentic experience in a rare spot in the mountains; the hospitality and enjoyment are Italian, and the next morning you can walk to the two cabins nearby—enjoy! A small tip to make the room a bit more comfortable: an extra pillow on the bed and a drinking glass in the room to keep water next to you would be great.

The location was just right for the trail we planned to take the next day, and the staff was very helpful explaining the walking options; they also waited for us after we arrived long after the scheduled time. It’s hard to find after sundown: we got there too late and there is no streetlight.

The staff were extremely friendly. Pasquale was an excellent chef and super helpful. The property is beautiful and situated in a wonderful spot.

The property sits in a fairly isolated spot a little outside the Roccamorice village, in a completely quiet area, making it a great base for hikes on the Majella. The staff were very kind and helpful, even for late arrivals.
