The spot is unbeatable, offering a gorgeous view and complete tranquility. The climb up is a tough, challenging ride but totally worth it! They also offer to pick you up if you’re not up for the ascent or if your car isn’t a 4x4. The people are incredibly kind and helpful. The cabin feels very cozy and is well-equipped with all the comforts you need. The bed is superb, and the breakfast was delicious.

“Sunrise Lodge: Traumhafte Lage, aber enttäuschender Aufenthalt”

The ranch sits beautifully in the mountains, providing a great view and plenty of peace when the weather is good. Getting there is doable with a suitable vehicle, though it’s demanding. Breakfast was acceptable but not spectacular; the cocoa was moldy. The location is the biggest plus, but overall our expectations weren’t met. Unfortunately, we couldn’t confirm the many positive reviews. Sunrise Lodge feels very damp and has an unpleasant odor. The facilities are Spartan, hot water was missing, and the light switch behind the fridge can only be reached with a longer object. The dinner ordered through a delivery service was poor despite an $18 delivery fee and is not recommended.

We had a fantastic stay here. The cottage is beautiful and the location is stunning. The host’s welcome was especially friendly and pleasant.

An exceptionally beautiful place, full of loving details everywhere, with a stunning view of two volcanoes. The staff were super nice, and the drive (we didn’t have a 4×4) was organized quickly and smoothly. We’d return anytime.

“Gran cabaña en mitad del bosque”

The cabin sits high in the forest, a truly lovely spot. The owners were kind and the breakfast offered was unbeatable. There were several ants trying to get into the cabin, so we couldn’t leave any food outside or we’d attract the whole colony. The insulation was a bit lacking, with gaps in the wood letting in cold air.
