“Nuestra experiencia en Fairfaild Montreal”

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfasts lacked variety and the space to get them was a bit uncomfortable. On the first night we were on the 6th floor and it was a nightmare because of the neighbors in the three rooms next to ours (609). The noise, door slamming, shouting and laughter were constant and went on until 6:00 am when we left for a tour to Old Quebec. At 3:20 am I called the front desk, but the situation continued. At 6:15 am we reported it again at reception and they offered us a room change, which we accepted, and that night we were transferred after the tour to #909. From then on everything went smoothly. The staff were very empathetic about our situation and apologized for the erratic behavior of those guests.

“Correct”

Located near Old Montreal and the Old Port, it’s ideal for most walking tours. The room amenities match the description. Breakfast is decent, rooms are clean. The neighborhood is sketchy. The mini‑bar fridge makes a lot of noise at night. The gap between the bottom of the door and the floor lets in too much light, so I had to put a towel at night to block it. The windows are screwed shut, making it hard to ventilate the room.

The bed was comfy and the spot was handy, right near a bunch of eateries. But the room sat right next to the elevator, and the morning bustle made it hard to catch sleep; if you’re sensitive to noise, steer clear of those spots.
