The room looked nice, but the bed felt lumpy; the staff were helpful, yet the breakfast left me wanting more. I prefer a hotel to serve breakfast rather than having to set the table and toast myself, which I can do at home. The cooked portion was okay, but the overall selection was disappointing for a hotel of this caliber—there was no plain yoghurt or muesli. Some areas of the hotel were stylish, yet the windows were dirty and the paint was clearly in need of touch‑up.

LOCATION AND VIEW OF THE RIVER, CAR PARKING. THE NOISE FROM THE ADJOINING ROOM FROM BEHIND THE HEADBOARD (WE WERE IN 205) YOU COULD HEAR THEM SPEAKING, AND THE TOILET FLUSH AND IT REFILLING, AND BANGING AROUND ON THE WALL TRAFFIC NOISE

The riverfront location was lovely and the staff were very good, but the pillows were poor, the shower lacked power, the waterfall was too close to the fittings, the windows could have been cleaner, and a lift would have helped.
