The historic building was kept very clean, and the staff’s hospitality was evident. The garden was wonderful, and the nearby sports park was also nice. After 6 p.m. I was not allowed to book breakfast, which was a bit disappointing and somewhat self‑inflicted.

The hotel has been around for a long time but was recently renovated and looked clean. The staff were very friendly. As with many old hotels, the HVAC noise was noticeable.

The front desk was helpful, but the building itself felt old.

The staff were very courteous and the restaurant food was exceptionally tasty, though I wish the bathroom had been a bit wider.
