Breakfast was fine, just a small half‑glass of juice, and the city‑center location was acceptable. Checking in was only possible online on Friday afternoon, which was very unpleasant and cumbersome—especially when it rained and I stood in front of the locked street door. After the second annoying call I was finally connected to a man who didn’t seem very enthusiastic; I had to ask repeatedly, which he didn’t like. The “real entrance” was through the back courtyard, and the staircase was tucked into a corner, which was inconvenient in the rain with luggage. I’ve traveled many times, but I’ve never experienced such an entrance. In the room there was no hair dryer, which I urgently needed after standing in the rain (the one I got at breakfast was supposedly stolen); normally dryers are permanently installed in hotels. There was also no mirror above the sink, and the magnifying mirror was truly inadequate. A separate shelf next to the sink would have been helpful.

I stayed in room 2, which was spacious and clean, but the booking didn’t mention that there was no private bathroom or toilet – everything was on the hallway. The staff were very friendly.

We were greeted warmly and the host even supplied us with breakfast utensils on the spot and brought us a pizza from a nearby town. We also got to use the sauna. However, there are no food options on site, so you have to come prepared, and the place feels cramped for a multi‑day stay because the bedroom and kitchen are quite small – but that’s a matter of taste.
