Palazzo Fiscaiolo

The location was fine, but the room was tiny. The information was misleading (no slippers). The shower didn’t work on the first night and there was no shower cap. I complained to Booking after midnight when I discovered the shower issue, and the owner was upset I didn’t contact her directly. She fixed the problems I reported the next morning, but the communication wasn’t the nicest. I suspect the owner will leave some harsh comments on my review, as I saw when other guests weren’t impressed by the palazzo (palazzo seems to be a common term there). Overall, I would definitely not book again.

“Excepcional”

The personal attention from Marccela, her concern for our wellbeing, and the breakfast compensation were appreciated. The cleanliness level and especially the terrace, which was a very pleasant space, were good. The only issue was the many stairs, but that’s a condition of all Monopoli buildings; since we only used it in the evening it was tolerable.

I was really impressed by the stylish interior and the complimentary bottle of wine that came with the stay; the place was so quiet and relaxed, a real gem, and the roof terrace offered fantastic city views and even farther out.

The location is excellent and the building looks stunning; it’s easy to walk everywhere, and the staff are very friendly.

The stay was really nice and the contact was very easy. They didn’t clean our room, but it was okay.
