I enjoyed the quiet surroundings, the natural scenery, the pool, and the staff were accommodating and friendly, but the sliding door at Casa Kubo was hard to open and close, the room was too cramped for four people, we weren’t told the bathroom was outside the room, and the curtains didn’t block the glass door well enough.

The kubo house was really roomy and felt authentic, but it urgently needs repairs before any accidents occur: many bamboo floor slats are missing or weakened, the bedroom doors are so tight you struggle to slide them, the kitchen utensils are incomplete, and there was no night security guard.
