“Clean and modern”

The spot was convenient, within walking distance of shops, restaurants and the beach, and the pool area was fantastic; having a modern gym was a bonus, and we appreciated being able to rent a Go‑Pro and towels. The rooms were quite small, making it hard to stay with several people for multiple days, and there was no kitchenette or appliances like an iron that would have been useful. Our room was near the hallway ice machine, which made a loud noise whenever it was used.

The location, the pool, the comfort of the bedding, the room décor and the little touches from the hotel for our honeymoon were all great. I also loved the service and the loan of various beach items (chairs, body board…) – it was really awesome! Nothing was wrong; everything was perfect.

Close to Waikiki, the beds were very comfortable and the management fixed problems quickly. After an initial room change, a sorry basket with a written card, sweets and drinks was brought to us, and at check‑out we received a credit for the deficiencies. Unfortunately it was very noisy; the elevator could be heard from the room and street noise was also noticeable. The staff seemed annoyed. Only valet parking was available, but with just one attendant, wait times for the car were unpredictable, sometimes almost 30 minutes. When we mentioned this, employee A replied, “You do realize we have other guests?” – yes, still you shouldn’t make guests wait that long. The rooms were also not well maintained; we had to change rooms because of cockroaches, only to find them again in the new room on the morning of departure, so we caught them and brought them to reception because we felt we weren’t believed. These issues ruin a hotel that otherwise looks beautiful and is well located.

“Good hotel close to Waikiki beach”

The room was comfortable and the location was great. Most staff were very helpful, especially those at the reception desk. Nothing else.
