K & B Hostel

The place is close to the metro and a bunch of restaurants, which is handy. However, the room is tiny; if you just need a place to sleep and spend the day in the city, it works, but the building looks a bit spooky and is quite old.

I was right outside the Jordan MTR station and practically stepped straight into the hotel entrance, which was a major plus. The building itself feels very old and noisy, but I was lucky that everyone else stayed very quiet during my stay.

The entrance is right in front of the Jordan station exit, making it super convenient. The only downside is that there are almost no supplies provided—you have to bring everything you need yourself.

The location is very convenient—just step out of the subway and you’re there. No complaints.

“Absolutely terrible!”

The only bright spot was the location next to Jordan MTR. The hostel is a converted apartment in a rundown, very old building. My room was extremely small, with the only place to stash luggage under the bed. The toilet and sink were built into the shower, and the single window was blinds‑covered and couldn’t open. The A/C unit, at least 30+ years old, sucked in hot air from nearby restaurants. There was a constant smell of cigarette smoke and fried food. I doubt this place meets emergency exit regulations and should not be offered by the operator. I booked it because other guests had good ratings, but I was deceived. I left after one day and booked a proper hotel 100 m further down (Prudential Hotel), which I can highly recommend. It cost twice as much but was 10 times better! I can only warn you to book this place.
