Grands Suites Hotel and Spa Sliema

Very disappointing. We booked three rooms at 8:00 AM from the airport, arrived around 11:00 AM, and checked in by 11:30 AM. About ten minutes later, around 11:40 AM, we decided to leave because construction nearby was noisy and ruined our stay. We told management we’d pay for the first night on all three rooms and cancel the rest. The manager was unpleasant, arrogant, and unprofessional, saying our reason wasn’t enough unless it was a family tragedy. We were shocked and found that statement totally inappropriate. We weren’t asking for special treatment or a full refund, just a fair deal. We submitted several cancellation requests, but every one was rejected. Even customer service couldn’t help; the hotel kept refusing. The lack of communication, understanding, and willingness to compromise was upsetting. We never got a chance to discuss the issue with management, and none of our concerns were taken seriously. Consequently, we spent the whole family holiday at a place where we felt extremely uncomfortable.

Good location… There’s an indoor, warm pool and a sauna for rainy days. The view of the roof pool is magical. The family room is very spacious. The only downside was that it was sometimes too loud, especially with cars and motorcycles.

Fantastic experience. If I ever go back to Malta, this is where I’ll stay. The staff were extremely friendly, the place super clean, and check‑in was quick. Thank you.

Satisfied, excellent view, wellness, gym, and breakfast. The only issue was a garbage smell in the bathroom.

The location was great with excellent views from the rooftop pool. Both indoor and outdoor pools were nice, especially since we arrived at the end of October, so the rooftop pool was a bit chilly for some. The beds were comfortable, showers were good, and the hotel was clean. The family room was ideal for younger families. The air‑conditioning temperature was set by the hotel at 24 °C, which they insisted was suitable for sleeping and wouldn’t lower it. We turned it off and slept with the doors open, but got mosquito bites because the doors were open at night.
