I had a lovely stay with the winemaker, the reception was super friendly and they explained champagne production and gave a small welcome glass; the location was very quiet, close to the vineyards and the Marne for nice walks.

The spot is perfect for champagne tastings and the breakfast is fabulous, plus there are great walks along the Marne river, but there are no restaurants in the village so you need to drive out for dinner.

They greeted me warmly with champagne, the room was clean, the vibe was relaxed and the shower was nice, but the room felt a bit old-fashioned and the bed was short.

The apartment is decent, but if you rent a three‑person room and don’t want to share a single bed, you’ll have to pay an extra €20 upon arrival. There’s a shop and a restaurant on the site, but in reality you’re only in Epernay.
