The location was fantastic and the accommodation was set up with so much care! Valerie and Sam were wonderful hosts, preparing delicious breakfasts, arranging the rooms lovingly, and always listening to guests. Thank you, we felt so comfortable with you.

The two owners were very warm and made us feel very welcome. The location and the view of the canal were especially nice. Breakfast was especially heartily arranged— we especially liked the selection of rolls and fruit.

The spot is right in the middle of town, and the room even opens onto the canal. Breakfast was top‑notch from every angle, and there’s a private motorcycle parking spot—though it costs a bit. The room itself is big and airy. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, which made the stay even better.

From the moment we walked in, this tiny, owner‑run place stole our hearts. “Contrast” really lives up to its name: classic Bruges stonework meets sleek, modern touches throughout the lobby, rooms, garden, and breakfast area. We loved the view of the charming courtyard and canal. It’s tucked a little away from the bustle yet still central—just a 100‑meter walk to a cozy bar and a small beer garden, plus several restaurants nearby.
