We rode a bike from Munich to Trieste and found the Landgasthof Tell just a short distance from the Alpe Adria cycle route; the welcome was warm and we were given a huge, clean room that felt “authentic.” We ate dinner in the inn’s dining room, where the food tasted great and the portions were generous, and there was nothing we disliked.
