“Lovely hotel, beautiful town”

What a lovely hotel, right in the centre of old Certaldo; we drove into a nearby square but had to move our car to a car park a few minutes walk away, which was fine. The hotel is old with stairs and no lift, so the manager kindly helped us carry our cases up the stairs. We didn’t eat there in the evening, but the menu looked great and the outside courtyard was very pretty. The beds were very comfortable, and we slept extremely well. The view from our room was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent, with coffee made to order. The dining room was very interesting, with lots of old jazz paraphernalia. We would definitely stay here again. The lady who checked us in didn’t ask me if I needed help with my bags going up the stairs, and it wasn’t until I started trying on my own that the manager kindly offered.

Everything about this hotel is really lovely; the rooms are very nice, the attached restaurant is very nice, and it’s located next to a funicular that takes you to the lower town, but it is right in the old town. The owner is also very kind; we were stuck in a pinch and he went completely out of his way to really help us out a lot. I couldn’t be more appreciative!

I was blown away by the lovely hotel, its great spot and the fantastic terrace, and the room itself was really lovely too.

“A lovely hotel in a stunning location, the best hotel of the holiday.”

The terrace is beautiful, overlooking stunning scenery, the room is great sized and the bed is comfortable. The staff were so friendly and willing to accommodate any requests, and there was nothing I disliked.
