Very clean, spectacular breakfast, and the hosts were beyond words. Simone was lovely and super smart; I loved meeting her. The only thing I didn’t like was that the room door was glass, giving the impression that anyone passing by could see inside.

The experience at Villa Barroca Lofts surpassed expectations; the loft is extremely clean, well decorated, comfortable, and features a super practical kitchenette with fridge and microwave. Breakfast during my trip was served on the upper floor and also exceeded my expectations. The hosts’ attentiveness makes all the difference—they’re extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is great, close to the historic train station.

We loved the stay! The hotel is a delight, perfectly situated and wonderfully pleasant. Everything is meticulously maintained, from the décor to the room details, which are comfortable and practical. The hosts are very attentive, friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcomed. The breakfast was also a highlight, tasty and lovingly prepared. It was an excellent experience in São João del Rei and we would definitely come back! The only downside was the pillows; the shredded foam filling wasn’t very comfortable, a problem we noticed in other hotels on the trip. It’s a small detail, but swapping them for more comfortable pillows would make the experience even better.
