The Hyatt House Houston Galleria features all-suite accommodations with an outdoor pool and hot tub, located less than a 10-minute drive from The Galleria Mall. Rooms include full kitchens, seating areas, and flat-screen TVs. A buffet breakfast and 24-hour market are offered. The hotel is 6 miles from Downtown Houston, the Houston Zoo, and 23 miles from William P. Hobby Airport.

Breakfast was acceptable, though it could have included bacon and real eggs; having it free was a plus. The room service didn’t bring towels unless we asked, and the bathroom door wouldn’t close. When we reported it, they promised someone would come but never did. Also, only one elevator worked, so we had to walk a lot.

The location and the property were good, but the breakfast was below par and the staff seemed uninterested in customer satisfaction.

Everything was amazing! Many breakfast options, very friendly staff, a fully equipped gym, a nice pool, and a great location. I felt safe traveling solo here. Nothing to complain about—I’d book again!

It’s conveniently next to the freeway yet far enough that traffic noise is minimal; it’s always clean and quiet, so I stay here often. The downside is paying $25 for parking when the gates don’t work and the phones have been dead, so no Wi‑Fi either. I’m not sure why they don’t compensate for that, but thank God it didn’t affect my stay.
