The place is well‑located, tidy, and the staff are helpful, but I couldn’t sleep because a bright light outside couldn’t be dimmed and the curtains were poor, plus the mattress was worn out.

“What I will remember most from this stay was the helpfulness and friendliness of the owners.”

The breakfast was very nice with more options than I expected, and the owners let me wash my car after a muddy drive, showing they went the extra mile; the motel is close enough to serve both Waterton Lakes and Glacier National Parks without the steep rates near the parks, and I appreciated being able to park and unload the car right at the room door, a feature typical of older properties. The rooms felt a bit smaller than those at most places I’ve stayed, but that’s expected for an older property and it was still perfectly adequate; the nearest restaurants are about a half mile away, which is within walking distance for me but maybe not for everyone.

“I was just surprised by how old it all was.”

Parking was easy to find, but everything felt stuck in the 70s, especially the mattresses.

“Average. Room was too warm!!”

Breakfast and room cleaning were good, but the room was too hot at 26 °C when I arrived; I had to leave the door and windows wide open to cool it down, yet it was still too warm to sleep comfortably.

It was convenient for our travels, but it was only okay for one night on our road trip and just very, very outdated.
