The place was spotless and super quiet, plus there was parking right on the hotel grounds.

Everything was clean and comfortable, and they had parking available.

All was good, but the only downside was that there was no coffee machine, so I had to drive to Sokar to get a cup.

The room was spacious, but during the six‑day stay it was never cleaned. I left a note asking for housekeeping, but it was repeatedly ignored, so I had to double‑check that cleaning supplies were actually present.

Hotel Bavaria is a simple, no‑frills place with no breakfast or staffed front desk—just two people running everything as of May 2026, who were friendly and tried to speak English. The bed was very comfortable and the room was large, and the hotel has an elevator. A few restaurants, a Mega Market grocery store, and a bus stop are a 10‑to‑15‑minute walk away, some of that walk goes through a gated family residential complex. The hotel sits next to a residential area along the main road between Kyiv and Odesa, and despite the traffic I found it quiet enough for a good night’s sleep. If you’re looking for a low‑price, comfortable room with no extra services and don’t mind walking (or taking a taxi) to get around, you’ll have a pleasant stay at Hotel Bavaria. The downside is that the reception isn’t staffed and the front door is usually locked; you have to knock or call one of the numbers on the door to get in. That’s probably understandable given the low number of guests, especially from abroad, in this part of the city right now. Also, the room had an A/C wall unit but the remote was missing; I didn’t need the A/C because opening a window kept the room cool enough.
