The breakfast was very good, carefully prepared by the owner, and the homemade cakes were especially delicious; the family‑friendly atmosphere was very pleasant.

Greg and Melanie were incredibly kind and welcoming. After a long taxi ride with no food, Greg drove us to a café in Huismes, where we discovered the best chocolate dessert of the trip. The next day we needed a taxi to and from Chateau Chinon; Greg offered his own service, which was amazing. Melanie’s breakfast was unbeatable: croissants, yogurt, nuts, baguette, a homemade baked breakfast bar, and freshly squeezed orange juice. Greg also gave us a tour of their orchard, showed the chicken house, the fake egg the chicken was perched on for motivation, and poured us a bottle of champagne. A truly wonderful countryside experience.
