The lodge was in a pastoral forest setting with a river below and trees around; breakfast was reasonable and the place was ours alone as there were no other tourists. It seemed aimed at backpackers, with bamboo and thatch décor, yet it was still very special. The rooms were somewhat cramped, making bed access problematic, and hot water had to wait to arrive; overall it was an upgraded bungalow.

Een prachtige plek, middenin de natuur. Heel vriendelijke eigenaren, ze bieden veel excursies aan. Goed eten en drinken beschikbaar. Leuke gemeenschappelijke ruimte om te ontspannen en van de natuur te genieten. Kamer is basic maar schoon

Rustic cabins only 500m walk to Lod Caves with plenty of options for activities. Crazy communal / dining area that has an organic feel. Make sure you understand you are in a small town so there is not a lot of options food wise other than eating there and that there is no aircon only fans (that were perfectly fine to cool us down given all the tree cover)

We were here for a cave tour that blew my expectations out of the water; the stay itself was simple as advertised, but everything we needed was there.
