“Lovely stop-off on the route to/from Santander”
This place feels more like a guest house than a hotel, situated in a quiet, pretty, well‑kept village a few kilometres east of the E‑5/A1, a popular route to the Santander ferry. The old house was recently tastefully updated while keeping its traditional style. Parking was easy. Our room was clean and comfortable, more than enough for our single night. Two bars in the village were both closed that evening, but the friendly landlady cooked a tasty, sufficient dinner and kept a small but well stocked bar in the dining room. We’d definitely return if we’re in the area.
