The historic vibe of the hotel impressed us, and we could see the effort in the design, décor, linens, textiles, and the rooms that kept the building’s original features while offering modern comfort; the breakfast surpassed our expectations, the surrounding wildlife added to the experience, and the host’s genuine warmth felt like staying at a close friend’s house. We had a great time and would definitely return.
