“Great but not exceptional”
The view of the rice fields is great, especially when they’re green, and the rooms and facilities have a nice design. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Noise is an issue – expect roosters, barking dogs, night frogs, and scooters and trucks on the nearby road. Privacy is limited because the guest rooms, pool, and restaurant are all close together. The menu has a wide selection but the ingredient quality falls a bit short; Western guests may find familiar dish names don’t taste like back home, and local dishes lack flavor. There are no dining options outside the hotel. Despite these drawbacks, it’s probably still the best choice in the immediate area.
