The staff were wonderful, very polite, and helped with everything; the room was heated nicely before arrival. The only issue is that the stairs to the second floor are iron and not sturdy, so something could fall out of a pocket or hand and break.

The hotel is lovely, with courteous staff, and this isn’t our first stop here – highly recommend it!

Finding the place is a breeze, the staff are friendly, and the room is spotless after a fresh renovation; the bed is comfortable and the room is perfect for a night’s stay. However, early September can still feel warm in the room, and the open window near the track makes it quite noisy – that’s the only drawback. A fan is present, but there’s no air‑conditioning.
