The location was gorgeous, the room spacious and the breakfast good, plus parking was free; from the hotel you could walk to several spots, but I brought my own kettle and mini‑fridge because the room didn’t have them.

The room had a beautiful view, the wellness area was pleasant, and I could buy a pass for the Zugspitze train; however, given the hotel’s rating we expected a better dinner menu and preparation.

The spot was lovely with views of Lake Kl. and the Zugspitze, but we couldn’t see why it earned a 4‑star rating – it must have been long ago and needs updating; there was no minibar or kettle in the rooms, the bathroom was dirty and in need of renovation, and overall there’s room for improvement; we wouldn’t book half‑board again because the cafeteria’s food was bland and limited.

The view of Lake Bader and the proximity to the mountains pleased us; we felt completely comfortable, the wellness area was nice, and the staff were very prudent.
