The staff were super friendly, the food was tasty but pricey, and the rooms felt a bit worn out.

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable; the manager supplied an adapter when I asked. The pub below was nicely decorated and the food was good. However, the room sits above the area where the public stand and smoke, so when I entered later it smelled of cigarette smoke because the window didn’t seal properly. The room had a suite, but other rooms didn’t, so I could hear doors banging and drunk guests running around all night. The internet didn’t work, so I had to go up and down to ask them to reset it a few times, and the TV wouldn’t connect to Wi‑Fi, so I couldn’t use it. There are no plugs near the bed, so I had to leave my phone on the floor to charge.
