ALTA QUOTA RELAX on the SEA - FREE PARKING

Everything! Communication with the host, Thomas, was smooth and almost instant. The apartment was clean, spacious, and bright, with a nice view and easy access to everything nearby. Over five days we explored the entire Amalfi Coast by all kinds of transport, enjoyed the train scenery, and just relaxed. Small detail: the kitchen had sugar, coffee, salt, olive oil, etc., so we never felt short of anything. I’m sure I’ll book here again if we return to Salerno. A special kindness was a plate of sweets at reception that we could take. I hope next time I’ll meet Thomas again for a glass of wine and chat, just as he wrote. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Restaurants and a bakery nearby, great spot near the harbor and promenade, the landlord is on site, gives good tips, and is very friendly and helpful. Parking is not easy and takes some patience.

The apartment was large, bright, and the bed in Room #2 was very comfortable – my husband even said the cot was comfy for a restless sleeper. The bathroom was spacious, as was the shower, and the sea view was nice. The best part is that the beach is only a short walk away: turn right when you exit the apartment, go up, walk straight past the grocery store on the right toward the busy highway, turn left, cross the first pedestrian crossing, then turn right. After passing the area that looks like a jogging path (probably for roller skating), a steep driveway appears; you’ll know you’re on the right one when you see a wall painting of a girl flying a red heart…birds and the girl are painted in all black. The sea is just ahead – definitely worth the walk! Tommaso was extremely helpful, even saved me a parking spot and helped with our luggage. We also had a delicious dinner at Casa Ragusa – https://casaragusasalerno.it/ – don’t miss it. The only downside was that we had to walk a fair distance to restaurants; it wasn’t hard for me, but could be tough for someone with mobility issues.
