Nothing good; everything went wrong from the moment the credit card payment was made two days before the stay. They switched us to another hotel. We had a very bad experience. We booked 5 rooms for a delegation, picking the hotel because of its proximity to Plaza de Armas. However, just two days before arrival, after the card payment had already been processed, we were told we would be moved to a different hotel. We asked if we could cancel and they said yes, but the refund depended on the bank’s timelines, so we had no choice but to accept. The new hotel was much farther away, which meant we spent a lot on transport each day. Additionally, it was a lower‑quality accommodation than the one we had originally paid for. To top it off, one of the children in our delegation accidentally broke a tea set that was on a table edge while turning with his backpack, and we were charged 20 soles (about $6,000). After reviewing other reviews and speaking with people, we found that similar incidents and charges have happened to other guests. We share this so that anyone considering booking can take these facts into account before doing so.
