Single Inn - Taipei

The floor is very comfortable. I had my own single room. The location is convenient. The girls’ dorm entrance is unlocked, the room is a bit dim, and there are only two shared bathrooms and showers, which is a bit less than other hostels.

There is a large Japanese public bath. The capsule rooms are small but each has enough space. The water pressure is weak, it smells moldy, and there are noises from footsteps and snoring.

The cost‑to‑value ratio was excellent, with breakfast and a late‑night snack, plus unlimited drinks. The building feels old, but the rooms were clean and I could sense the company’s effort. It wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but a guest brought a phone into the bath, which was unpleasant—probably watching videos in the tub. There was a sign at the entrance saying phones were prohibited, but stricter enforcement would help. I’d like to see more investment in maintenance and cleaning. The shower in the bath had low water flow, and the drain was small, causing poor water circulation.
