The receptionist was cheerful, but the restaurant and bar were closed, the wine at the front desk had run out, and a 25 cl bottle of beer cost 110 NOK. The room was cold, the pancakes at breakfast were icy—almost frozen—and the milk was sour, making the hotel utterly worthless.

The hotel sits in the town centre, is very typical, convenient, not luxurious but clean and adequate, and the breakfast is of very high standard, though the room feels rather small.
