The bed and bedding were great, but the overall cleanliness was terrible: the floor had a spider in a corner, tables and windows were dirty, and there were dead mosquitoes around; the coffee maker was sticky and had a white rim with a bag of coffee from the last guest, plus a 2‑liter carton of milk that had been left in the fridge by the previous visitor, and a mayonnaise packet was also left there; the Wi‑Fi was almost never available and the signal was too weak to stay connected; there was no bedside lamp or power outlet next to the bed; the shower curtain was moldy inside with black spots and the shower fittings needed replacement because when the shower ran the bathtub faucet leaked heavily; I’m done with this because the price doesn’t justify a $150 extra deposit, especially when we’re far from the castle to ask for such a deposit; it’s discouraging for $144 per night.

The shower cabin was unusable, the sink faucets were loose and wobbly, the heating made a terrible noise that kept me from sleeping, and the room was not cleaned – dust lay on the floor and crumbs remained in the drawers.
