The location offers peace and a change of scenery compared to our seaside stay in Salou, and it’s close to lovely hikes. There was no air conditioning, and we had no choice for meals.

We went to see the eclipse, and the location was perfect for watching it. The staff, especially Mery, were very friendly even though they were a bit overwhelmed.

The place sits high in the mountains overlooking the coast and has been a good spot in the past. The lady who runs it is very nice but doesn’t speak English, so figuring out the menu and prices was difficult. We’ve stayed here several times before and enjoyed a relaxed stay for the price, but this year the cost jumped significantly, leaving the facilities feeling poor for the price. The grounds look neglected, and there were almost no other guests—only one other couple at dinner—so the atmosphere was lacking. We wouldn’t return if the rates stay the same.
