Landhaus Graßmann

We stayed only one night, looking for accommodation quickly in the evening. The house is big, but it’s a huge mess – basically a bazaar, which really spoils the overall impression. When we arrived we didn’t believe it was the same house shown in the photos on Booking. Towels were piled up in the hallways, and there was a pile of dirty ones under a curtain. The room was fairly clean, and the bedding was also clean. The owner welcomed us with a smile, was friendly, but I apologize, the environment deserves more care. I think it’s good to know what to expect. Everyone should decide for themselves based on their judgment and needs.

The location is convenient, close to everything, and the place is quiet and peaceful with comfortable beds. The rooms were poorly cleaned, with plenty of dust everywhere, and the corridors smelled stale and were cluttered with many items. In the rooms the kettle, microwave, stove, pots, and teapots were all jammed into less than 1 m², all wired to a single power strip, making them practically unusable. At the entrance there were piles of clothes and shoes in disarray right in front of the breakfast area, giving the impression of neglect and dirt. Outside the building the mess was even worse, with stacks of beer bottles in the sun, paper, cardboard, old metal, etc. Parking was not always available in front of the property, and the place is not suitable for families with children.

Everything needed was available, the beds were insanely comfortable, and overall it was very clean. Visually, it takes some getting used to. Towels, drinks, etc. are stored in the hallway, and the color scheme is quite unsettling, but if you want a good night's sleep, this is the right place.

“Not for more than 1-night stays”

The host was friendly and helpful, the location was convenient and public transport was easily accessible, and we were offered free public transport for the duration of our stay. The host also recommended useful places for us. The house and everything inside are old and dingy, with many items scattered around and a very stale, moldy smell everywhere, unfortunately. It’s a good choice for a one‑night stay but not for longer. We traveled with our son, and the extra bed offered was like sleeping on a metal rod on the floor. We had to sleep on the two separate beds that kept drifting apart at night, which was very uncomfortable. The room and bathroom were very small. We were happy to leave.
