Penzion Ve stoleti

The restaurant and the outdoor seating area look nice, but the shower cubicle was dirty and the sink had a bad drain. The bed sheets hadn’t been washed or the pillows were very old, and there was a strong sweat smell as if someone had slept in the bedding for a week. The restaurant’s appearance was appealing, but I don’t recommend the food. I found two long strands of hair on one plate, the sauce was mediocre, and the overall taste was below average. The Plzeň beer was fine.

The location was great, but the shower area felt neglected.

“Čekali jsme trochu více, ale odpovídá poměru cena/vykon”

The place was quiet and the single night’s stay was absolutely enough, but I have to criticize the staff: the receptionist greeted me with a head‑raise gesture and a “what are you doing here” vibe, then the check‑in dragged on because of a system error with the guest before us. The whole vibe was hectic, no smiles, no warmth. I get that dinner rush brings its own stresses, but we still got the apartment key with a short intro on where the room is. Breakfast was very basic, nobody said hello, nobody even checked if we were entitled to breakfast. It’s cheap, but the selection was tiny. I’m a bit disappointed because we’ve been following the restaurant for at least ten years, celebrated a promotion once, and used to think it was a bit higher level with a friendly atmosphere. It’s a shame that this factor deteriorated so much. Still, thanks and overall 8/10.

“Perfect”

The old buildings were nice, and everything else was fine.

“Bonita parada con un bonito jardín.”

The rooms and garden were cozy, but you could hear the other rooms a lot.
