The place is in a great spot, but we chose it only because every other Brighton hotel was booked during the festival. The price for a worn‑out, quirky room matched those of 5‑star hotels, so it was only useful in emergencies.

The mattress was comfortable, but there was no staff and we were moved to a different property. The new room was dirty, with unclean pillows and towels.

The only redeeming factor was the convenient location. Everything else was horrible and disgusting; I can’t fathom anyone paying for a stay like this and giving it a good rating. The property should be inspected by authorities and is not suitable for guests in its current state.
