The hotel sits directly on the beautiful Faskrudsfjord, a nice stop between Glacier Lagoon and Myvatn, about 2 miles off the Ring Road. Our ground‑level balcony literally overlooked the water. The restaurant looked out over a small pier. The main building across the street has a long history; a hundred years ago it was a hospital for French fishermen. There’s nothing I didn’t like.

Good location, comfy room, free parking, and a restaurant. The front door of the building isn’t closed, letting anyone in; it should have a keypad to keep outsiders out.

Excellent spot. Even though I checked in very late, the staff were kind and my room was superb. Breakfast that morning was simply amazing.

The spot is amazing—just a meter from the fjord, right on the water. The rooms are roomy and super comfy, and breakfast was pretty tasty. All in all, a solid stay with no complaints.
