“Won't be staying here again.”
The spot was perfect, but the room was a mess—microwave still had leftovers from the previous guest, and it wasn’t ready when I checked in, forcing me to wait an hour. The temperature hit 87° on a hot day because the AC was off before I arrived. The workout room was a disaster, broken and missing equipment, basically useless. Breakfast left a lot to be desired: fake eggs, cold sausage, and dirty counters. Over four days, I only received a single day’s worth of towels and was told no more were available. In the morning, the thermostat batteries were dead and the room was hot; I grabbed fresh batteries from the front desk, installed them, and left for a meal. When I returned, two maintenance workers were inside, replacing the thermostat batteries I’d already fixed. My personal items were in the room, yet nobody had informed me that anyone would be entering during my stay, and I never requested any repairs.
