“Historic hotel under new management in the center of the Bizerte medina, with pluses and minuses”

Dar Madina is a lovely, authentic hotel in the somewhat run-down but charming medina of Bizerte. The owners are busy developing it, but it is still a work in progress. Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Although the room and bedding were very clean, the towels had clearly been washed but with very unpleasant-smelling detergent. Our room had only one interior window; when open, we had no privacy and smoke entered from the central courtyard. The advertised roof terrace did offer great views, but had not yet been cleaned up, so no place to sit among broken furniture etc. As stated above, the hotel is not yet fully renovated

“Bel Riad vicino al porto di Bizerte”

Riad bello è tipico. Caffè e cappuccio sempre disponili e anche tisane. Staff molto cordiale e disponibile.
